Garballey Kicks off Campaign for State Senate, Over 500 Attend

ARLINGTON, MA - Candidate for State Senate Sean Garballey formally began his campaign with a kickoff party at the Arlington Sons of Italy. The event was well received, with over 500 people of the 4th Middlesex district attending. “I was thrilled with the turnout,” said an energized Garballey after the event, “We knew there would be a good amount of people, but this exceeded our expectations.”  

Garballey, who currently serves State Rep. for 23rd Middlesex, was greeted by a roaring crowd after speeches by Rep. Majorie Decker, Senator Jamie Eldridge, and Rep. Ken Gordon. Also in attendance was Second Assistant Majority Leader Rep. Paul Donato, Rep. Paul Tucker, Rep. Kevin Honan, and city officials from the district.

The special election to fill Donnelly’s Senate seat will be on July 25, 2017. Party primary elections will be held on June 27
